MYSTIKI FLEVA (ΜΦ)
༄ Mystiki Fleva (ΜΦ) is the solo project of Antonia Kattou. ΜΦ unfolds electronic and electroacoustic compositions and semi-improvisations, field recordings and textural storytellings. Her work skin of water presented in 22o Halo, was a reflection of our gaze towards nature or our surroundings. In Liquid Hot Mess, she continues her artistic research collecting data and field recordings from the Cypriot landscape. The data of the synthesized track will be collected from the sound walks and from contactive objects of the immersive landscape - installation.
Like Bruno Latour talks in Face à Gaïa, 2017, about the static landscape, which has become fluid in the last couple of years. Not any longer we are this small creature in an overwhelming sublime nature, but the giant crushing it.
An entity seemingly so lasting turns out to be vulnerable. A feeling of decay.
